Kudus Mosque (also known as the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Masjid Al-Manar) located in Kauman village, district of Kota, Kudus district, Central Java. This mosque was built by Sunan Kudus or Ja'far Shodiq in the year 1549 or the year 956 Hijri using stone from the Baitul Maqdis from Jerusalem - the Palestinians, as the first stone. From the word Baitul Maqdis, appears the name of Kudus, which means sacred, so that the mosque is called Kudus mosque and the town is called by Kudus city. This Mosque is unique shape, because it has a similar tower temple. This mosque is a blend of Islamic culture with Hindu culture.
